Bayern Munich

The most successful sports club in Germany, Bayern Munich, is a football team from the city of Munich. Founded on February 27, 1900, it has more than half a million members worldwide as it consists of not one but two separate clubs: a FC or football club whose professional team has been playing continuously since 1965/1966, and another division , which was then spun off into its own entity, now called simply "Bayern" and also encompassing other sports such as handball, tennis and motorsport under the Bundesliga name. In 1903, after winning a total of three championships in the four seasons between 1901 and 1904, they had to settle for second place, largely because the players had not yet recovered. At international level, the club is one of the most successful in Europe with seven European Cup victories. They are also among the few teams to have ever achieved this feat, winning all forms/variations of it (five Champions League titles and four other UEFA Cup victories).

The most decorated team in Europe's top flight is about to make history. Bayern Munich have won the Champions League five times, including three times in 2013-2015 when they pulled off the incredible feat of winning both Bundesliga titles, the Club World Cup and, in those years, Serie A as well crown! The side go into next season with a lot of confidence after signing young talents like Joshua Kimmich and Renato Sanches in the last summer transfer window. Also, the squad didn't change too much in the 2016/2017 season, so coach Jupp Heynckes has another chance to lead his team next year if we could see another treble win.
